COVID-19 Update

We are reopening starting June 16th!

We hope you & your loved ones are safe & healthy. The last two months has been a whirlwind for everyone and we appreciate your support through it all.

We are implementing procedures that uphold the highest safety standards. Some of these new practices include ensuring social distancing, regular health checks with our salon associates, sneeze guards at our front desk, waiting in your cars for your rooms to be ready and continuing to use our hospital grade sanitizer on all of our equipment in between every session.

  • What You Can Do Now

In accordance with the Official Phase 2 Personal Services COVID-19 Requirements, we have implemented the following measures to ensure the health and safety of our team, our guests, and our community:

GUEST EXPECTATIONS

Prior to your reservation, you must complete a Service Agreement Form. These forms are available online, but are also be available to sign when you arrive. We encourage you to submit this required form prior to arriving for your reservation, both to familiarize yourself with what to expect and to eliminate touch points within the salon.

Masks or other facial coverings are to be worn by every individual within the salon  prior to leaving the vehicle and existing your tanning room. I understand that if I do not provide my own mask, I will be asked to purchase one for $2 + tax before I can enter.

When you arrive, you will check in at our front desk and your hands will be sanitized, and you will complete the Service Agreement if you have not done so already.

We are unable to offer our in-salon waiting area at this time. If we cannot immediately seat you for your service, you will be asked to return to your vehicle to wait. We will call or text you when your service provider is ready.

Unfortunately, only individuals who are actively receiving a service are allowed within the salon. Please arrive alone to your appointment. For guests under 18, a parent or guardian may be present for the consultation only. Exceptions can be made for those requiring a caretaker as our schedule allows.

Please only bring items that are essential for your service into the salon, such as a beverage, payment method, and phone. All other personal items, such as jackets, purses, laptops, and food must be left in your vehicle or at home.

Cash payments are STRONGLY discouraged at this time. If you would like, we are able to securely store your credit card information on file so that your transaction can be touchless.

Guests must self-screen for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before arriving. A temperature of 100.4 F or higher is considered a fever. Anyone who has symptoms of influenza, COVID-19, or the common cold, or whose temperature exceeds 100.3 degrees will be required to reschedule their service for another time.

While it breaks our hearts, right now we unfortunately cannot give you a hug or a handshake. Virtual and air hugs are encouraged!

Lotions will be available for sale. However we will not be able to let you touch the products.

SERVICE PROVIDER EXPECTATIONS

Healthy Glow Members who are afflicted with, or shows symptoms of influenza, COVID-19 or the common cold will not be permitted on site.

All Healthy Glow Staff will have their temperatures checked and hands sanitized prior to entering the facility.

All Healthy Glow Staff will wear a mask or other facial covering at all times while within the facilty.

Stylists will wear a mask or other facial covering, face shield or eyewear, gloves, and an apron during your spray tan service. The required PPE will be changed between each service.

All service touch points, such as implements, workstations are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each guest.

All frequently-touched surfaced, such as door handled, counters, light switches, and restrooms, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized every 15 – 30 minutes.

We will continue to strictly follow all safety and sanitation standards for tanning salons and personal services as outlined by the Washington State Department of Licensing.

We understand these measures take away from the experience we all have come to know and love when receiving providing a service at Healthy Glow. It is our duty to “follow the rules” set forth by the State of Washington to help flatten the curve. Our hope is that all our guests and team members understand the need for these extreme measures during this time. As we all tread through these uncharted waters, we look forward to finding our new normal together.
